The company started its humble beginning in June 2000 as a single proprietorship then known simply as Lifeline Diagnostics Supplies. With only five (5) employees, it started its operations with a few accounts in Metro Manila and South Luzon as a sub-dealer of Organon Teknika. While relatively young, Lifeline was able to hurdle the economic global slowdown and the political crises that struck the nation during those times. Gradually, several personnel were employed and Lifeline's area of operation had been expanded.

In October 2001, only after more than a year in operation, Lifeline decided to incorporate the company.

It started its commercial operation as a corporation in January 2002 and at about the same time, it was appointed by Bio-Rad Laboratories as importer and exclusive distributor in the Philippines for the latter's Clinical Diagnostics Products. Bio-Rad Laboratories is a multinational company which holds leadership positions in Quality Control Management, Diabetes Monitoring, Blood Virus and Autoimmune Disorders testing. Eventually, Bio-Rad offered its Life Science Products to Lifeline as well. Aside from Bio-Rad, Lifeline is also, presently, in partnership with other multinational companies as their exclusive distributor in the Philippines.

With a bigger challenge at hand, Lifeline decided to increase its investments, expanded its office space, employed additional personnel, and widened its operations nationwide, including in Visayas and Mindanao. Lifeline is presently one of the major players in the diagnostic industry in the Philippines. It serves major research institutions, blood banks, and clinical laboratories, including hospital-based laboratories, free standing laboratories, and overseas workers clinics.
